Ministries and Missions are firmly rooted in the operations of Pine Forest Baptist Church. As an active church family, we know first-hand the power that comes from believers stepping out in faith to grow the kingdom of God. This is why we’re actively engaged in our community and our world through serving others and sharing Christ with them. You can help us change the world around us.
Be sure to check out our Sunday school classes, Wednesday night groups, and church committees to get involved with here at PFBC.
One of the most important things you can do is pray—for our unconnected neighbors, our missionaries, and our ministries.
Not all are called to go, but some are called to support through time, volunteering, and financial resources. We have missionaries and ministry partners serving all over, taking the gospel to the ends of the earth. It’s our job to help them get there and give where we can. From our Body and Soul food ministry, Christmas fruit basket delivery, grass cutting team, vacation Bible school, summer missions team, and Operation Christmas Child, you can find a way to give and make a difference.

The children’s ministry understands the importance of leading children to the faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ, and preparing them for a lifelong relationship with Him. It is our goal to enrich our children’s faith by encouraging and strengthening their individual, God-given abilities and talents. The Bible is clear that Jesus was very passionate about the children around Him, and we believe that He has great plans for them, beginning at the earliest stages of childhood. Children’s ministry is for children ages 3 – 6th grade, and includes children’s Bible stories, Children’s church, Sunday school, summer camps, activities, and more.
The goal of our youth ministry is to build leaders in the community by preparing young adults with the authority of the Word of God so that they can go out and be the difference in their community, their family, and their peers. We strive to give them the confidence and knowledge they need to be positive examples, in both faith and action, to the world around them. Youth ministry is for students grades 7-12 and includes Bible studies, Sunday school, fellowship events and activities, opportunities for missions, summer camps, recreation, leadership service within the church, and more.
Our Adult Ministry has a variety of Sunday school classes that range in age from 18-80+, as well as Seniors for Christ fellowship outings and events, and small groups who serve together in a variety of ways (Body and Soul food ministry, youth chaperones, VBS volunteers, etc.) Adult ministry is open to anyone 18+ with classes available from College & Career, Young Adult, Couples, Men, Women, Prayer & Share, etc.)
The PFBC choir sings during Sunday morning worship service, and presents special selections during Easter, Christmas, and other events. Instrumentalists and vocalists also often present special music as a part of the worship experience.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, children ages 4 – 6th grade are invited to partake in a week-long, upbeat experience known as Vacation Bible School (VBS).
